Reliable parts for modding

This is my third or fourth order from Retro Modding. This time I picked up a Game Boy Color IPS LCD Kit and a set of Custom Buttons. My previous orders were for GBA shells and a CleanJuice Air battery mod, which all worked out great. I keep coming back because their product quality is consistently good; the parts always fit well, and I've never had a dud. Prices are competitive too, especially with their bundles sometimes. The LCD kit installed without issues, just like the last one I did. Shipping was also pretty quick this time, took 4 days to reach me in California. I usually get a tracking number right away and can follow it. No real complaints, they're my go-to for modding supplies.

Fast shipping, good screen

Got a Game Boy Advance IPS Screen Upgrade. Installation was easy enough. Screen works great. Shipping was quick. Would buy again.

GBA shell, quick delivery

Bought a Game Boy Advance Shell. It arrived in 3 days. Quality was good, fit my old GBA perfectly. Wish they had more color variety in stock, but happy with the purchase. Easy process.

CleanJuice Air works well

Got the CleanJuice Air for my Game Boy Pocket. Easy install, holds a charge for ages. Worth it.

Good quality, minor shipping delay

I ordered a Custom Built-to-order Game Boy Advance, choosing the IPS screen and a custom UV Printed Shell. The customization options on the site were straightforward, and the builder tool was pretty intuitive to use. It took about 3 weeks for the console to ship out, which felt a little long since I was eager to get it, but that was within the timeframe they stated for custom builds. Once it arrived, the packaging was secure, and the console itself looked amazing. The build quality is solid, and the IPS screen is bright and clear, a huge upgrade from the original. Playing on it has been a great experience. I had a quick question about the battery life, so I used their contact form, and support got back to me in about two days with a helpful answer. Overall, a good experience, just plan for the build time.

Good parts, but shipping was slow

I ordered a Game Boy Color IPS LCD Kit and a set of custom buttons last month. The quality of the parts was really good, everything fit perfectly and the screen looks fantastic now. The installation guides on their site were very helpful too. My only real complaint was the shipping speed. It took almost two weeks to get to me in California, which felt a bit long for an in-stock item. I would definitely order again for parts, but I'd just plan for a longer wait.

Great custom GBA

I recently purchased a Custom Built-to-order Game Boy Advance from Retro Modding. I chose the transparent shell with a brighter IPS screen and custom colored buttons. The console arrived in about three weeks, which was within the estimated timeframe they gave. Packaging was secure, and the GBA itself was flawless. It plays all my old games beautifully, and the screen really makes a difference. The build quality feels solid, and everything works exactly as expected. I'm very happy with this purchase.

My GBA looks awesome now

So I decided to finally upgrade my old Game Boy Advance. I got one of those FunnyPlaying Screens and a new set of Custom Buttons, plus a cool new GBA Shell. Honestly, it was pretty easy to find everything on the site. Shipping was okay, came in a week or so, no big deal. The parts all fit together nicely, and my GBA looks totally different now, way better than before. The screen is super bright. My only small thing was finding the right screwdriver, I wish I'd just added one of their Tri-wing Screwdrivers to the order. But yeah, happy with it.
